Discover your potential

An equal society is crucial in all aspects of life, games have the power to bring people together and create a sense of community, but it can only happen if everyone is given an opportunity to participate. By promoting inclusivity and diversity in gaming, we can create a BRIGHTer future for all.

DESIGNING BRIGHT

Over 10 weeks this team developed the project concept during the studies of Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente. The group aimed to create a meaningful and inclusive product that would act like a bridge between two different realities and promote social integration.

Throughout the duration of our project, the group dedicated extensive time and effort to develop a working "hands-on game" specifically designed for individuals with visual impairments. From the beginning, the goal was to develop a product that addresses the needs of visually impaired individuals. This required us to conduct in-depth research, gain insights into the target group's requirements and preferences, and apply innovative design principles to ensure inclusivity.

We will also highlight the strengths and areas for improvement in our final prototype. By sharing our experiences and insights, we aim to contribute to the growing field of inclusive gaming and promote social integration and inclusivity. We are excited to share the details of our project and hope that our work inspires others to continue exploring innovative solutions that empower individuals with disabilities.
